Sigur Rós

Sigur Rós, the icelandic band, will play in Porto and in Lisbon, tomorrow and sunday. The Lisbon concert is already SOLD OUT. I can understand why: they're getting better and better...I went to the Stockholm concert Nov. 1st. at Cirkus and was completely amazed with the beautiful sounds and voice of Sigur Rós. Some of the projected videos are also quite catchy, making the show a multimedia experience hard to forget. Front band was Amina, a group mostly formed by the girls who play strings for Sigur and a Mac Apple laptop doing some rhythms. Some of it was actually a bit boring but well, it's just a warming up for Sigur. Their last album "Takk" has a bit more guitar distortion than their previous works, which reminded me a bit of the Mono concert experience last May.
