The 24th January this year was more than a special day, many things happening at the same time and the most special of all: to share everything with Lisa! First, my article in "Neuroscience" finally came out in its definitive version, then another article where I am co-author in Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology was also uploaded to PubMed, plus the FIRST SNOW of the year started falling in Lausanne covering everything in white and raising the hopes for skiing without having to travel long to for example Saas Fee, a delicious lunch at Pinte Besson (horse steaks with rösti), a nice walk in the snow and a fantastic dinner cooked by Lisa (opened with Veuve Clicqot, turkey with tomato sauce and feta cheese, a terrific salad and a chocolate-lime cake, all accompanied by Les Chevaliers 2005, the wine from Valais that I had been dreaming about for weeks since some posts ago), in a romantic candle-light atmosphere...
I received many congrtaulations by e-mail, sms and phone, to all of you my big hug and thanks (Mum, Dad, Ingrid, Martin J., Petrof, Cordeiro, Va, Carlucci, Ana B., Ana N, Ana R., João Carlos, Maria Lund, and the great Gonçalo CB - the first of friends to remember).
We are going to continue with some celebrations during the weekend, starting with a night at the opera tomorrow (ai que saudades do S. Carlos...). Back with the details next week...
