Yesterday we went to the famous Christmas market in Montreux together with our japanese friends F., Y. and little A., who is afraid of Santa Claus... It's supposed to be one of the biggest and one of the nicest in the canton de Vaud. It was fun to see the small miniatures of trains and little cottages that work as Christmas decoration, as well as to drink some vin blanc chaud and to our surprise, some danish glögg (less sweet than the swedish version). We also ate some rösti, emincé de poulet and papet vaudoise, delicious! The waterfront in Montreux was crowded with people, swiss, international, portuguese. We're looking forward to the Jazz Festival, which we missed this year.
