    Welcome to 2008!

Genève: Lisa cameback from a week in Sthlm and we took the opportunity to stroll around in Geneva. That afternoon was cold and grey and I was just recovering from the night-rounds at the hospital but we had a cosy walk and tasty lunch there.

Birthday: I turned 33 last week!!! Unbelievable!!! It seems like I was 28 not so long ago...and that 30 was recently...32 went fast...wooow! Hey time, don't go so fast!

Food: Lisa has discovered GI diet and has converted to the religion...we've been eating like kings and queens and she's been cooking pearls...I love to see her this passioned and my stomach most appreciates! Here is a picture of the pavlova cake Lisa did for me...

Then there was a dinner yesterday with Irene, Fumi, Masaru and Diana at "Charlie's place", a lebanese restaurant here in Lausanne (the only thing worth the dinner was the wine, the food was a bit disappointing compared to lebanese restaurants in Paris or even in Stockholm). We went for a beer afterwards but the long day at the hospital did not allow much celebration...

Music: "Somewhere else" is the name of Marillion's latest album released last year. Me and Lisa took a couple of hours to enjoy the album, so Marillion and so melodic, a good return to the beginning of the 90's when Steve Hogarth consolidated his position as the new vocalist of the band. The album has melodies that could be in "Brave" mixed with more rock-like songs that are more characteristic of "Marillion.com". Marillion may look old but sound like new... Still is a pleasure to listen to the mellow ballads like "Thank you, whoever you are" that you can watch here.

This is me and Zé with Steve and H. at Hard Rock Cafe in Stockholm, March 2004
