After some heavy rain, the first rays of sun appeared...we went down to Ouchy, the southern part of Lausanne by the water, to have lunch at a Chinese/Thai restaurant (delicious beef with Satay souce for me, cantonese duck for Lisa). These are pictures taken with my new mobile, a Nokia with 2 megapixel camera (same as Lisa, but white colour) look at how nice they are! We are also feeling a bit like the sun rays: we want to go through the clouds and dissipate them, we want to do more things, go further, get rid of obstacles...I think we are still displaying the swedish behaviour of "längtan", that is, to wait for the spring/summer that never come...but we can't complain since it has been really warm and sunny around here.
Next week: Lisboa! It will be fun to meet my family and friends. Lisa likes Lisboa a lot, and I am already anticipating long walks with her downtown, Pastéis de Belém, a visit to my University, a night in Bairro Alto, etc...After that, skiing at Les Arcs, France, with João Cabral, will be fun to see if I can still remember how to do it after three years...
