After some intense travelling, time to relax at home. This time of the year, you feel a bit divided between indoor and outdoor activities, the weather is uncertain, you feel like going for a walk but when the sun hides, it gets chilly. Me and Lisa were looking for a nice place to have coffee and warm up a bit in the middle of a sunday walk, and ended up at the Hotel Beau Rivage, the famous 5 star Swiss hotel chain. Not the cheapest place to get lazy and drop in for a coffee but to our surprise, the 5-star Beau Rivage offered cheaper coffee than Starbucks! Can you imagine? And the uptight atmosphere that we were expecting to encounter was much more relaxed and casual than we thought. Despite the difficulty to find a sitting place, or to be more exact, an available leather couch to sink in, we found ourselves spending a nice hour talking at the "English Bar" (on the photo above), one of the four bars of the hotel. The music was like Café del Mar style, not so noticeable. Then we strolled around the salons and tried to figure out which will hold Lisa's graduation party in one and a half years from now, organized by the Business School. For you guys to have an idea, this place is a bit like Cafe Opera, Grand Hotel and Berns in Stockholm (neoclassic style from early 1900's), but several times bigger.Sunday, March 04, 2007

Então e quando é que cá vens? Espero que tudo esteja a correr bem por aí. Já te mudaste ou a busca continua?
