Sweden. We had a nice week off in Stockholm and Dalarna, travelling around, eating great food at Mamma Ingrid, who is also a GI methodist now, and meeting friends.
Thesis defense. My friend Anna defended her thesis, an interesting work on neurotrophins and peripheral nerve system development and function. We then partied at Lejonbacken, in Djurgården, and danced happily to a very lousy DJ (not even a terrible mix of 80's and 90's songs would move us from our bubble of fun and happiness that night...).
Ajas blogg. I was surprised to find out that one of my swedish friends who regularly visits this blog was also writing in the blogosphere...

Rival. The bar/hotel/cafe owned by former ABBA singer/songwriter Benny Andersson in Södermalm continues as one of our favourite hangouts in Stockholm. You can talk and still listen to good music, even though few seats are available. Extremely relaxed atmosphere with relaxed people. So relaxed that a couple of years ago Lisa even slept a bit on a bed located at the entry...
